Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's TT post is from an ARC e-book I received, due to be released August 6th:
"They told you it was livable, huh? For rats and termites, maybe. Well, good luck with everything," he said, turning to leave.
"Thanks," she offered. She watched him load into his vehicle and drive away.

What a fitting excerpt. Nothing like a rundown country estate deep in the heart of North Carolina wine country to get the romance started! The question is, does hero Jesse pair best with a nice chilled white wine or a robust red? LOL
